"Treat others the way YOU want to be Treated"

It just amazes me on how observant children are and the way that they interact... At only 4 and almost 3 my children seem very involved in everything... To what they say, how they act, how they love... it just melts my heart on a daily basis.... The unconditional love that they show is mind blowing! I am blessed. I am so happy that God has a plan for me and that he is allowing me to live it with all my heart and soul.

Last night we were sitting at the dinner table, talking about what made the kids feel "HAPPY" and what through the day made them feel "sad".... Violet tells me last night that it makes her feel HAPPY that we are going to have another baby in our family and what made her feel sad, was her friend chose to play with another friend over playing with her at school. She said that it hurt her feelings... So, we of course talked about being able to have many friends and making sure that Violet should lead by example and try to include her friends, even if she is choosing to play with someone different than her norm... That leads me to talk about what made her feel HAPPY! She then tells me, "Mommy, I really want a little sister... then she says well never mind lets just have a little boy... yea, Mom that's okay.. lets just have a little boy."

While this conversation is going on between Violet and I, Preston is chiming in, I want a "Lil Broddder"... I have to say, that this made my face, and heart smile so BIG :)

We then went on and started to discuss, baby names... Violet came up with some fun ones, Preston decides that Brother was a good enough name, for the new baby...

What made Preston feel "HAPPY" is his buddy Shauny... and what made him feel sad was his buddy Shauny... then they proceed to tell me that Shauny pulled his pants down and that he had an ant in his pants. Which made both of the kids chuckle. Of course we made sure that Shaun was okay and then all had a little laugh that he was doing the "ants in your pants" dance....

and that concludes our dinner... I want to stamp this memory and many more in my mind forever. I wish that every time I blinked I could just record everything and keep it in my memory bank!!!

For my Children, I just want them to live... Live with their Hearts open and Minds free to accept new ideas... Looking on our dinner, Last nights lesson was, "Treat others the way you would like to be Treated" What a great lesson in life to start learning at such a young age...

That's MY Nitty Gritty Truth,
Anne
